The Bastid family welcomes you in the relaxed setting of our « gentilhommière", a typical manor house of the XIXth century in the Anjou regional style. Surrounded by calm shaded grounds, la Bouère Salée is part of the history of Saumur and the Loire. Passionate about discovering our home’s history, we will be happy to share with you its legends and anecdotes.Four bedrooms with their own bathrooms (shower-washbasin & toilets) are:at the first floor, the "Rose Suite "(4p)with a small kitchen; at the 3rd floor, the "Lis Room" (2p) twined with the "Calendula children(2) Room", the "Camelia Room" and the "Hydrangea Room" (3p each). In the morning, you will have a big organic breakfast in the lovely dining room or outside if the weather is nice.
The Loire Valley, also called « the Garden of France », is bursting with treasures that you will discover by car or by bike around each leisurely river bend. Saumur is the best place to drive around and visit castles, wine caves...
